47. Time

I've been here for half a year now. ...It feels like forever and like no time at all.

A long time ago - a few months, I guess, but still - I said I'd stop letting all of this get to me. I guess that turned out kind of impossible. There's no way this doesn't bother people. 

But maybe I've been letting it get to me too much. ...The way the Malnosso want it to. I kinda forgot I'm supposed to be...well, chief someday. They know it, so I might as well just say so. And this isn't how... 

...What am I saying all this to the book for? I shouldn't have to write it down to make it happen, either. 

Anyway. Sorry, guys, for the way I've been acting recently.

I've been okay, I guess. The Malnosso just dropped me back off about a week ago, so...it hasn't been great.

That you've somewhat changed your outlook about this place. It's true that there's no way one can't be bothered by this place, but... both of us have been here for half a year now. We've met people we wouldn't have met had we not been here, and, well... I'm glad I'm here.
