It's the most we can do...Though, there's always precautions...*stays silent for a few moments, as if contemplating something, before opening his eyes and offering a small smile* ...I'd like to give you a gift, Miss Sheena.

Hmm? *pushes herself up a little, propped on one arm* What're you...uh. Thanks. What is it?

*Spreading his wings behind him, he maneuvers one close, reaching up to pluck two jet black feathers. Closing his eyes once to concentrate, a light violet glow surrounds the two feathers. A few seconds later, the glow subsides and he opens his eyes, his hand reaching out to give the feathers to Sheena.*

Those feathers are instilled with some of my magic...Think of them as protective wards with a kick to them. When they're magic is used, I'll know exactly when and where they were set off. *lets his wings settle behind him* A precaution...for the future. *smiles* Use them as you would your cards.

((Dark's feathers are able to expel both defensive and offensive magic but I've never been sure of the full details...Sheena can use 'em however she likes, should a time come when she needs 'em...Here's a nice vid (http://youtube.com/watch?v=HrE-E4k_Dgc) where you can see Dark using them. They are a lot like Sheena's cards, in a way. ^^))

*takes them, flushing just a little - it's more pronounced because of how pale she is - and smiling*

Th-thank you. ...I really appreciate it. *leaves them on the table, though, because there's not much she can do with them now* How'd you know...about the cards?

Why, Miss Sheena...*winks playfully* I've got eyes and ears all over this village~♥. *laughs* Most of my time here's been spent just gathering information...*gaze settles on the ceiling as he continues* Ya see, I've been searching for someone...but he seems to have been taken away from here.

My tamer, Daisuke. *shifts his gaze back towards her* You wouldn't have happened to have met him here, have you? He's short, cute...'s got big red eyes and a head full of red hair...*drifts off, hand coming up to scratch the back of his neck, a wistful look on his face*
