Oh, that's right! You weren't here when we found it. Well, yeah, its size actually changes... but, really, this is the size it is when it's not active.

*he tosses it a bit into the air* Innocence, activate!

*he lets it hover right above his hands*

An' now... if I kick it at something - an akuma - it'll resonate and explode. This is what it looks like when the Innocence is active... now it's more than just a bell.

Yeah, it is... you can hear it? That's cool... I dunno, I don't usually have it like this. Its power is through sound waves... when it shoots through an akuma, it causes the akuma to basically... become a bell, I guess, and the sound waves destroy them.

As Innocence goes, it's pretty unique!

Yeah, 's fun. Lotsa fun. I get to kick it around like a kid kickin' a soccer ball, an' when I destroy akuma I set the souls free. 's kinda like the best of both worlds!

*he deactivates it and takes her hand, lightly placing it on her palm, cool and normal-seeming except for a slight tingle*

Otherwise, it's just a bell for all anyone else knows. Doesn't look too scary, but don't underestimate it 'cause it's small.

Yep, 's just like that... it's the Innocence inside of it. It's part of the Exorcist just as much as a hand or an arm.

So... that's why I was so frantic to find it when I got here. Seein' it shatter... I was done for anyway, but that hurt, it hurt way more than the beating or the lightning or anything. It seems weird, but that bell is the most precious thing I've ever had...

Well, a lotta people think bells are stupid or frivolous... I had my choice in weapons when my Innocence was tested. This bell came from my parents' shop back home in Bodrum... was just about all I liked 'bout the place 'cept for my family. When I left, I kicked it off the door an' took it with me... ended up deciding to put my Innocence in it and make it my weapon.

*he sees her falling asleep and smiles, then settles down on the floor with his back against the bed*

Didn't like workin' there, really... but somehow this bell always made me smile. Still does, really, 's all I've got. Exorcists don't have time for much else... it's pretty much all I own 'cept some random stuff I've collected. Mostly it just collects dust...

*he pulls the hood around and absently toys with the bell, then hisses when he accidently puts pressure against the wound on his neck*
