Guess it's about that time again, huh? Hey, everybody. I just wanted to say that we're kinda shorthanded at the tea shop these days and so if anyone wanted to work a day or two, there's...a lotta space in the schedule for it. It's weird not to work for money, and everything, but at least it's something to do.

Or you could just come have tea, too. That reminds me I've gotta ask at the bakery again about making stuff. We've got just about everything you could want, I think. Uh, I mean, if what you want is a specific kind of tea.

And the last thing is that...Ayumu went home. So the house is pretty empty again. [The vocal equivalent of a shrug, followed by a shade of actual shrugging.] Kinda the way things are here sometimes. I've been here for a little bit more than five years and you just get used to it eventually. Most of it. Sorta.

Anyway. Didn't mean to make this whole thing depressing.

[And as usual, anyone may catch her at work. Avoiding the house? No way, of course not!]

Nothing serious or new. Just an empty tin. That's all. Ran out a little earlier than anticipated. A few bad nights and a terrible accident with a cat.

Uh, you don't have to make the tea, you can just serve it while someone else makes it. Most of the time I'm pretty sure I don't need protecting, though. [In fact she's kind of smirking in a wry way.] I can handle myself and so can almost everybody else living here.

To serve... That would be an honor! I would do all I could to ensure the swiftest service possible!

You are so strong? Does this mean we should spar?

[A tea shop? She's never had tea before, but hey she's not doing anything most of the time. The part about five years...she'll ignore it for now. Maybe she can lift this woman's spirits.]

I can help out if you need someone. I've never made tea before, but I can be a waitress.

I'm pretty much guaranteed not to turn anybody away, y'know? Even if you haven't made tea. It's not like there's a whole lotta other stuff to do around here when experiments aren't happening.

[Which is an outdated point of view. There is a lot to do - and Sheena does a fair handful - but those things haven't reconciled with the way Luceti feels.]

This shop is in the plaza right? I think I saw it in passing before. Do you want me to go there now or what?

Um, excuse me? [Someone sounds very nervous.] There wouldn't by chance still be opens at the tea shop to work... is there?

Sure there are. Especially if you wanna work mornings. [The later Sheena gets to sleep, the better, these days.]

Sure! No problem. It kinda sounds like nobody does, but you will after a few days, right?

[Emil is at work too, as usual. He never misses a day unless there's a really good reason for it, meaning he's there pretty much every day.

He does notice that Sheena seems a little... sad today, though. But since he hasn't looked at his journal yet, he doesn't know the cause.]

Yeah. [Maybe that was too fast.] It's just, you know...empty house again. I never get used to that here.

[Yeah, that's certainly understandable. That's happened to him far too many times over the years too, so he can sympathize with the "never getting used to it" sentiment.]

I don't know... I don't think that's a bad thing. The not getting used to it, I mean.

I'd be willing to help you at the tea shop if you still need some. [It's a good opportunity for her to get out and get around to help people.]

[That kind of messages warrants a visit to the tea shop sometime in the afternoon.

Raine will just take a seat in her usual spot on the Mizuho styled side, and wait for a moment when Sheena isn't busy with her applicants to wave her over.]

It seems you got a lot of takers for helping out this time. Think they can handle it?

Yeah, probably. It's not a big deal if they can't, they'll figure it out or someone'll show them...or they'll stop working here. Anyway, I'm prepared to get what I pay for.
