138. Turning [voice/action]

Hey.

I think...it's over. I mean I think- uh, I guess I hope everything's over. Or at least most of the bad stuff, anyway. It's never really over around here.

If anybody wants to fill me in on the stuff that went on in the village after the decoys went to their stations...or, uh...if you wanna be filled in, too. [She intends for that to sound ordinary, so ordinary, but to catch the attentions of the right people.] Anyway I wanna hear about whose houses are having trouble and stuff like that. I'll be back at work this afternoon. Assuming it's still in one piece, I haven't been up there.

[True to her word, and despite a couple of broken windows and some water damage, Sheena does indeed return to the Tea Shop after lunch and gets it ready for anybody who needs or wants to come in. She won't be there as long as usual - four hours, tops.

Surely people are curious enough to want to know - if only what it was like to be stuck in a submarine. She expects to be joined by an employee or two, too!]

[That almost makes her laugh - buzzards - until she remembers he saw her at her absolute worst, weird other self that she was. Then she just blushes.]

[The door-bell (not a doorbell, but a jingly bell set against the door to go off when people come in) chimes his entrance, and Sheena sticks her head out from the kitchen.]

Hey there. I'll be out in a minute, sit somewhere away from the broken windows. I'm gonna sweep up the glass before I get you something if that's okay.

[He will just claim this comfy chair right over here.]

[Well there's a voice she hadn't heard for quite a few days now. Rather than answer the journal message, Raine will show up at the tea shop a little later.]

Yea- oh, hey, Raine. [A half-muffled voice from the kitchen.] I'm coming, hang on.

[Behind her through the kitchen door she brings a mop and bucket. The floor near her broken windows is filthy and there are small bits of glass the broom didn't get.

And she is really not in any shape to be doing all this cleaning.]

Hey! How's your house?

It's still standing, and everyone is accounted for. [And is not the important matter at present.] Did you just get back?

[Emil is a good employee! Meaning that he'll be there when Sheena comes in, trying to sweep up some of the glass from the broken windows. He's not quite sure what to do about the water damage, though...]

Oh, hey Sheena. I was just, um... I thought I would clean up some of this mess before you got here.

[ Seeing as it's seemingly over, Sasuke will come back to the town. See what happened to it and all that. As a whole he didn't really think it concerned him though.

While wandering around the mess, he ended up at Sheena's tea shop. ]

[She hears the bell on the door and this time comes right out, having given up on cleaning some parts of the damaged areas for now. It's easier to tell people to just sit away from the windows.]

Hey. [Half-familiar, half-wary - this is Itachi's brother, right? She remembers that in a weird vague way.]

[ Initially Sasuke plans to ignore whoever said hey. Then he realizes that that voice is actually a little familiar to him. He turns to look and, sure enough, he recognizes the person speaking to him. ] You're still here?

[Pao-Lin...sort of slept in hella late today. Oops. Still, after hearing Sheena announcing that she'd be at the Tea Shop later, she'll make her way over to check up on things -- and also maybe to find out more about what happened while half the village was on the draft. She'll probably get in just as Sheena is getting ready to close up shop. Oops again.]

[Yep, she's locking the kitchen door and looking so weary she might be considering just sleeping here instead. But there's a customer. Huh.]

Actually, I was just wondering if you needed me to help out today. [Glancing around at the damaged, empty shop.] Even if it's not with serving tea or whatever.
