[Sheena got up early this morning to start preparing her backyard to be a legitimate garden this year. It feels wrong and right all at once - wrong because she still wants to believe this isn't permanent, and making a garden feels very permanent, but right because it's something to do and much better than just sitting around waiting for the next problem. With the last draft putting their food supply in danger, it felt like a good idea.

Then the skies opened up. Rain, rain, rain. In her determination to get this done, Sheena chooses to stay outside and finish at least the row she's been working on digging holes for. And she takes a spill in the mud shortly thereafter.

A muddy, wet, ticked-off ninja is speaking to the journal now.]

I don't think spring is supposed to start like this. Does it ever do anything besides rain around here anymore? What kinda garden is this gonna be if everything I try to plant in it just drowns first?

...Does anybody know what gets planted in the spring?

I know the list is probably pretty long but there's some stuff I'm never gonna actually plant. Stick with the things I'm not gonna accidentally screw up with.

[it's not a garden. It's a mud rectangle. As manry as Yuan's smirks are, they are inaudible, especially in the rain. He will go unnoticed while she tries to get some of the sticky mud off of herself]

[He's torn between just walking away and giving her a hand. Now that Martel's in Luceti, he's suddenly feeling a lot more guilty about what happened during the Valentine's experiment. Then again, Sheena forced her help on him when he lost his rings, so now it's time to repay that 'favor' and pester her while she's muddy.

[ From the sound of it, it seemed like the young summoner got soaked in the rain while planting a garden. If she was in the same room, she would have certainly offered her a towel. ]

All kinds of plants. You can plant tulips, roses, and maybe a few sunflowers. Strawberries would be nice too, but those grow better during the summer. Try growing some sweet onions if you want to grow some food.
