7. Gliding

...Lloyd is going to love this.

I was doing a little exploring, and I found a whole area full of those flowers from the Latheon Gorge. You know, the ones that produce wind. I don't have the ring to make an air bubble with, but I'm pretty sure--

--yeah. Wings work just as well, for a quick ride. You get pretty high, too. And as much as I hate to admit it, doing this is kinda fun.

It was kind of an accident. Still, I definitely like this experiment better than the last one.

*she turns to the air flower again. Spreading both wings wide, she gets a running start and jumps into the air current, which lifts her up quickly. From that height, she can spend a few minutes gliding slowly back down*

So, tell me. Are the wings we have now...do they work like the ones a Cruxis Crystal gives you?

No, it's... really totally different. Those wings don't really have weight to them. These... feel like they could break off if you pushed them too hard.

Well, yeah, these ones are actually made of living things. ...I don't think the angel wings were.

You can feel exsphere wings, but it's a bit more like wearing an outfit than having them actually part of your body. And you can stick your hands through them, too.

...Did you ever wonder why Remiel's wings, and some others', were real, with real feathers, and everyone else's were sort of ethereal?
