[Out of the tunnels and into the plaza comes one very tired ninja, limping. Anyone lingering in the area will see a very surprised face...at all the snow.]

Whoa. Winter. ...I wasn't gone that long right?

[It's cold and she has no coat to speak of, but as she looks around, she realizes the fountain is about as far as she thinks she can go on her own. Time to sit on its edge, open that journal and see what the heck is going on. ...And let people know she came back. At least it wasn't like she was kidnapped or something.]

Hey! Nobody told me I should've been ready for a blizzard.

Anybody who's been here more than a year'd better have a winter coat. ...It'd be a problem for the new people though. Are we still getting those?

I believe so, yes. The most recent cycle should nearly have passed, by now.

I know it's the right time for that. I just didn't know if people were still showing up. ...Too bad there's no good way to let them know about those stations in the forest before they figure the journal out.

[Her lean into him is going to get a bit heavier for a while. She's tired.]

[That's what Yuan meant, though. The cycle should nearly have passed, but there's still a couple of straggler New Feathers coming in.

He notices the heavier leaning, but aside from giving Sheena a bit more support, he won't really acknowledge it. Saying something about it will only make things uncomfortable.]

Some volunteers could put up a few more signs in the forest, with directions to the nearest station.

But you can't be sure they'd stick around.

[No, this won't do. Sheena shakes her head.] I've gotta stop for a minute.

[Yuan nods curtly, slowing to a stop.]

Do you need to sit down? [There... isn't really much around to sit down on, though.]

Yeah, but there's nothing that isn't covered in snow. It'll be okay. [a dismissive and pitiful hand-wave]

[Right. So. They'll just stand here for a moment then, Yuan supporting most of Sheena's weight.]

[That'll have to be enough. It was just a passing moment of gonna pass out, and it's going away now. She straightens up once it does.]

Uh, sorry.

It's fine. ... Take your time.

[The last thing he wants is for Sheena to pass out entirely.]

[The other reason she requested Raine's house was that it wasn't that far away, compared to her own. At least she didn't ask to stay at Yuan's?]

We can keep going now.

[To be fair, if she'd requested Yuan's house, Kratos may have been around to cast some proper First Aid. Still, Raine's healing magic is superior.]

All right. [And off they go, onward to Raine's house at a very slow pace.]

[It's a lot easier for her to bother Raine than Kratos, especially since his return - without memories. Living with the two of them for a while would've put her on edge, too.

Not that Raine and Albert are incapable of that.]

[Now now, Yuan and Kratos aren't such bad housemates. They're both just very, very quiet and reclusive. Sheena would have most of the house to herself. ... Then again, that sort of silence might be exactly what would put Sheena on edge.]

[That and all the judgment.

She'll say nothing else until they reach Raine's doorstep.]

[It takes a bit of awkward shuffling to move towards the door and knock while still holding onto Sheena, but he'll manage.

So... Knock knock. Someone had better be home.]

[Luckily enough, by now it's late enough in the afternoon that Raine would have been back from school.]

... Yuan? Sheena?

Hey, Raine. [a small and careful wave] I just got back, is it okay if I sit here for a while?

[The last conversation he had with Raine is still lingering in the back of Yuan's head, especially now that he knows Mithos has returned, but he can't let himself get distracted by that now. He'll meet her gaze without wavering.]

[She looks back at Yuan, unflinchingly meeting his gaze for a long moment, before returning her attention back to Sheena, who at least had the decency to speak.]

Yes, of course. Come on in, then.

Great. [The most tired expression of gratitude. Sheena reaches for the doorframe to hold herself up with, turning to look at Yuan.]

Thanks for your help. [Now she totally knows he does care.]

[He carefully releases her, then. Raine and the doorframe can take it from here.]
