Well, now that I'm back to being myself again and I've had a couple days to finish almost everything up...

The tea house is officially open for business! Even if it doesn't have a name yet. It's on top of the Welcome Center, and you should really come check it out! We have a little more than just tea.

...Well the bad ones are really bad.

If there weren't any good ones, we wouldn't have any reason to keep on each day. It's just... a balance, really.

[This isn't quite the reassurance she was hoping for.

But if she knows what she wants to hear, then she ought to be able to tell it to herself, and save people the trouble of guessing. If only it worked that way.]

Lemme know if you want anything else, okay?

[It's not really fair to have them guess. Especially if what they do say isn't good enough.]

Hm? Yes, of course. [Now she'll actually get to trying the offered food. The tarts did look tasty.]

[It isn't about fairness, sometimes.

Sheena waits another awkward half-moment before heading back into the kitchen.]

[She's a little surprised when Sheena decides to leave, but she didn't know what could be done for it. After all, didn't Raine run a school here? Did Sheena think she had given up? The ninja wasn't very forthcoming about what she thought about that. So there really wasn't much she could say on the matter.

She eats a little of the tart, sips a little at the tea, rising with it to look out of one of the windows. Still raining. Hm.]

[She decided to leave because that's what she thinks people are going to want when they come here - either time to talk with the people who come with them, or time alone to think. If it takes some correcting to get her to realize otherwise...well then it'll take some.

The rain isn't helping, but at least it just seems like a calm, if steady, sort of rain.]

[ it doesn't make any sense because it's Raine, and hadn't they been past this? though they've had this discussion before, with similar results.

[It wasn't about the subject of the discussion, at least.

And they may have occasion to talk again if Raine decides to investigate that clang and shatter sound (and the cursing) in the kitchen]

[The noise catches her attention, though it's a few moments before she moves over to investigate. Distracted, just a bit.]

Sheena?

[It's a little muffled through the wall, but] I'm okay!

Are you sure?

Yeah! I just made a mess. [and then some indecipherable grumbling]

Well, if you need anything...

[a snort that she may or may not be able to hear]

Besides new feet?

[ and teasing. ] Don't tell me you fell into a hole.

No. I'd be downstairs by now. ...I ran myself into the counter.

[it's gonna leave one heck of a bruise on her hip, too. But right now she's in there cleaning up the mess on the floor.]

Is there not enough space in there? [And really its silly to keep talking through the wall, so she'll move toward the doorway.]

[there's enough space. She's just not used to where everything is, and one counter edge sticks out about six inches past the others. It's a decent sized kitchen room, though]

No, it's enough. I'm just...it's still new.

Of course it is, but you don't have to expect so much of yourself, or push yourself that much either. [And yes, she knows that's what Sheena grew up with.]

[Placing the last few substantial pieces of her broken teapot on top of the pile, she gives Raine one quick look over her shoulder. Why the lecture now? An accident in the kitchen isn't really worth one, is it?]

You think I shouldn't expect to watch where I'm walking? [she tries really hard not to sound as bitter as she feels. And she grabs a rag from the counter to wipe the floor with.]

You should always watch where you're walking. [That is a joke. Not a lecture.]

Because it makes sense or just 'cause I'm me?

If you have to ask...

If you're gonna say stuff like that about the owner of this tea shop in front of her then she might make you stay and wash dishes.
