115. Light

Hey. We've got a lotta new people this month, huh? For anyone who's new, I'm Sheena. I think the guide answers just about every question, but I've been here for a really long time, so if anyone wanted to ask, I'm okay with answering about stuff.

I was thinking about trying out that battle arena thing. Anyone done it already and wanna tell me what it was like? If it's like the coliseum I dunno about trying it.

What would you guys think about having a winter, uh, festival thing like we did a couple years ago?

I met your crazy rival.

Hey, are you up for visitors? I know it's gonna get late soon...but hopefully Albert'll forgive me.

Well, it doesn't allow you to get hurt unless you specifically alter the safety level.

Right. That's why I had to change it. I didn't want that to happen.

You can also adjust the power level and gravity, though I haven't experimented with those nearly as much.

They do, but by default, holographic enemies can't harm us. You can disable that on the console outside the battle rooms. Then they will be able to hurt you. The program will shut down before any mortal blows are made, though.

I used it to recreate some familiar places; some mines, a mountain path, a complex river sytem...all of it seemed exactly as I remember. I almost forgot I wasn't really back a couple of times, it was that real.

Well, that's just what I asked for. You might be able to change it more to your liking.

Me, too. It just didn't have the same sense of urgency, you know? The last thing I want to do is become sloppy because of it.
