102. Charged
[It's been a rough day. Intermittent thunderstorms have kept Sheena inside, partially due to a...wariness of thunder and lightning (no fear that she would ever admit), and partially because of the accompanying downpour. Even between full-blown storms, rumblings and soaked, muddy ground are a great deterrent. Sheena's feeling cooped up and restless, and so as it gets darker and the sky starts to legitimately clear, she takes her journal and heads up to the roof. It's still overcast and damp in the air, but it's peaceful.
So the lightning strike takes her totally by surprise. It doesn't hurt or even do much damage - apart from leaving a few scorch marks on her clothes and the rooftop - but it sure makes her shout. Shaken, she moves to the opposite end of the roof after a few minutes of just staring, intending to get down and go back inside. And it happens again, knocking her off this time. Fortunately she's practiced in landing; unfortunately a very freaked-out ninja is now crouching against the front wall of house 18 with her journal open]
Something really weird is going on right now.

It's as relentless as the damn rain.]

I think we've met once before.
Many of the odd things happening this week are in my line of experience. Maybe it's something I can help you with. [he gives no more, and no less of an explanation than is necessary, for now]

[because it didn't hurt either time, she's trying to convince herself that she's having flashbacks or visions or something. Instead of actually being hit with voltage.]

[doggedly] ...can you tell me what happened? Or what you saw?

...That. [and that one stung.]

[ action ] now with accurate title!
[and, true to his word, it's not too long after that he arrives. Any lighting that approaches now will be sent harmlessly aside, to exactly the spot he damn well pleases.
He hasn't spent months speaking with Tsinku for nothing.]
Yo.
...Sheena, isn't it?
