I've really gotta get back to training, so I'm looking to spar with a couple people. Anyone interested? I promise I'll go easy on you.

You've trained and fought hard the entire day. You have progressed well... But you also must know when to keep fighting and when to rest.

I'm fine. I expected to get it worse from you than other people. [You're ancient and powerful and all that.] It's not a big deal.

[Even though Sheena's clearly winded. Siiigh... She's just as stubborn as Lloyd. And the one way to get him to stop all of this...

...Was to rush in and bring him to his knees. Just as he'll try to do here. He moves in, his sword arm in front of him and ready to strike, all the while keeping an eye on her cards as he looks for an opening she might give.]

[in real fights, you get winded sometimes. That's never stopped any of them before, and it's not gonna stop her now, either. Sheena doesn't have perfect defense, especially against a long sword, but she'll go on the defensive anyway - a dangerous place to be with Kratos - and keep an eye out for openings of her own]

[Good luck finding one, Sheena. He slashes his sword through the air twice, expected her to jump back, which leads him to make a larger step forward and...]

Lightning Blade! [And then, another step:] Super Lightning Blade!

[She jumps back to avoid the first slash; on the second, instead of a leap backward she moves forward narrowly avoiding the strike but getting inside his range, for once. She'll try for a Demon Seal or Life Seal but she's too close to avoid the lightning strikes.

...This is shameful, actually. It doesn't feel much like she's improved if she can't last ten minutes against Kratos. Doesn't matter much now, as she's gone down]

[And this is how you end a spar with stubborn people. Kratos waits a second or two, then holds his hand over her body.]

[Considering only people with really bad aim heal their opponents, she's guessing Kratos considers this spar finished. She gets back up to kneeling, at least, but doesn't look at him. Lesson communicated but not exactly learned.]
