You know, a year ago today, I was eight. ~~Wonder what that makes me now.~~

I'm glad Corrine's back, but I'm worried too. He's never been brought back like that before. I'm not gonna be able to go out much until he gets better. Hope the patrols go okay.

He's hurt pretty bad. Right now he's asleep, so we'll have to save him some cake. But he was doing better this morning than he looked when I found him.

Well, you take good care of him, at least. He'll get better in no time.

I hope he will. ...You take good care of Raine too, you know. She's eating well. ...And hey, maybe if you tell her she always sticks to the recipe when she cooks, she won't be as scary in the kitchen.

She's been eating better, yeah. Let's see how long that'll last. And it's hard, okay? She keeps wanting to get creative and trying new things with the recipes which, by the way, shouldn't be bad if she'd just. Experiment with them in ways that weren't lethal.

But that means she's still herself, I think. If her cake could still knock Kratos out.

Heh, yeah. That's something that she probably can't get rid of, or forget at least.

[speaking of cake! Going to slice into this chocolate one now and put one slice on each plate]

This looks even better now that I can see the inside.

I wasn't sure if you'd like something sweet, but I figured a bit of caramel frosting in there would be good.
