It's summer. Don't we have something we can do to...I dunno, celebrate that? I think it's already been the solstice, even. This isn't the best place to be, but...maybe we can make something better of it.

Hey, Al. I've got a question for you. You wanna come and help out at the clinic with me? It's something to do, and...it lets you think about other stuff, you know?

Ahiru had plans... something bigger than the winter festival, since we have so much more people now.

Yeah, there'd be stuff. A summer solstice day and, most years, the day of First Missions. ...And stuff like that.

Yeah, those... What're they called again? Boomstick things that make big lights in the sky and all that... fireworks, that's it! I love those things, even if they are way too bright. Everyone stares at them and no one's really looking when they go off.

I sincerely agree with the need for a summer celebration, if for nothing else to raise the general morale and collect most of the 'population' in one location so that they might be observed better. I believe the organization which calls itself the 'SOS-Brigade' was intending to do something, though their... erm... eccentric... leader recently was abducted if these journals are to be trusted.

...I believe it might be prudent to work with them though, given they likely have already collected some materials for the event.

Personally, no. I've only read things on the network... though if their potency id worth even half the leader's bombast, I likely should go out of my way to get to know some of them. They may be a notable force down the line.
