...Things are actually kinda nice around here, in the spring. Everything turning green like this...it's really different from home, but at the same time...still peaceful. I'm surprised I can find peace in a place like this, but I guess that's what you get for looking at nature too long, huh? ...Maybe it's because spring was always when the good things happened.

She's monitoring my progress, as well as Will. He's from my world, and he's a father as well. I'm grateful for all that he's done so far.

I never even realize how... odd they are until after the desire's passed. But that's a normal thing that comes with pregnancy as well as the mood swings. Senel doesn't like those very much.

I hate to put him through it... I'm just glad he puts up with me.

I've decided that Senel will come up with a first name, and I'll come up with a true name. A true name really can't be decided for a long time, and Senel... hasn't really been in the naming mood.

We...children are given names. And then we get...names that are used by everyone else. Only your parents and the person you marry ever find out your real name.

That doesn't sound like it's exactly how yours works, though.

Almost. Only people we care for find out the true names. Most Ferines only tell each other their true names and never tell Orerines. The whole reason for first names is to hide a part of ourselves from the Orerines, but I've always found that silly.

And a true name... really defines who you are. They're in our language, Relares, and they hold a special meaning.

My real name is in the Mizuho language...but so is my usual one, so I guess it's not really that different.
