*Stands behind her house, in a cleared space in all the snow. Her coat is discarded a few feet away. After a moment, she starts a series of quick movements, obviously a practiced pattern*

You look cold, too. Wanna come inside for a while? I need a break anyway.

If you don't mind... I'd be happy to. *picks up Sheena's coat, which lies beside her feet, and holds it out for her*

*takes the coat and heads for the house*

I don't mind. Do you want anything to eat, or a drink?

Ah... food would be nice. *follows after Sheena, laughing a little when she catches up to her* Senel doesn't shop enough, and we've recently run out of food. I was actually on my way to get some for our home.

Oh, don't let me hold you up then.

*heads inside and starts searching for something fast to eat*

Heh, yeah, we used to let Lloyd do the shopping but...he always forgot what he was supposed to get. ...Anything in particular you want?

Boys will be boys, I suppose. They can be hard to understand sometimes... *sits down on one of the beds and watches Sheena's movements* And don't worry about finding something fast to eat; I'm in no hurry. As for your question... I've found myself enjoying fruits lately.

*piles up a few pieces of fruit on a plate and slices them, bringing them over*

*takes the fruit and thanks Sheena, though she asks before she takes a bite from one of the slices* Gloves? Why?

Because it's cold outside and there's no point in freezing your fingers if you can get gloves for free.

*gets herself a glass of water*

*blinks at that, then chuckles to herself, amazed by Sheena's observation skills* I have gloves back at home, but they're exclusively made for fighting, not for warmth. I'll take your advice when I try to find some food. You should... find a first aid kit and take it with you if you can.

Thought of that already. But thanks for the advice. If we do get Lavi out, we'll probably need it.

I've seen a few people use fighting gloves. To be honest, it looks a little awkward.

These are simply made to fit tightly around the hand. It's only for protection for the impact of your hand. *puts her food down in her lap so that she can slowly bump her knuckles against the palm of her other hand* Doing this without any protection could cause the skin to split.

*looks at her own hands, smiling a little*

*thinks carefully about this since she knows that talking about her world only makes Sheena feel sad* Which weapon did you use before you turned to knives?

These. *fans out the same cards she showed Allen earlier* They work a lot better with the mana behind them, though. I can still use them here, but they're not nearly as effective.

Mana... *looks at each card with obvious interest on her face* I wonder if that's similar to Eren. Senel's an Eren... an Iron Eren, as a matter of fact. *takes her attention off of the cards to look at Sheena* How do those cards work?

A lot of them. Stronger ones can still get through, especially if you're focusing on more than one thing. ...I've tried it a couple times here, though, and I get light, but no actual barrier.

That sounds like a very unique way to fight... I do wish your ability worked here. *smiles up at her, though it seems almost tentative, for she doesn't know if she went too far and made Sheena feel nostalgic or not* Shall I talk about magic in my world now? I've seen very interesting ways of fighting in my lifetime.

Hm, well... *sets her plate of food aside and wraps her arms around her pulled up legs as she thinks of Senel's team of friends* There was Norma, who certainly had one of the oddest weapons of them all. She's a crystal eren, meaning that she uses long range magic attacks, both offensive and supportive. Anyway, if enemies get too close... She fights them off with a straw that shoots out bubbles.

...Really? How...uh, how is that effective?

*says the girl who fights with paper*

...I'm not really sure myself. *grins with amusement* I don't really know how it works, but I suppose the... bubbles have some magic within them. I found it strange myself...

If that's what a 'crystal eren' is, what's an iron one?
