[Early this morning, someone delivered a letter, unnoticed, to Sheena's bedroom. When she wakes, it is taped to her forehead, hanging down in front of her eyes. The contents of the letter may remain forever a mystery to anyone but her. It's not like she wants to have a read-together over the journal or anything! Especially since it's a jovial and slightly-mocking letter from Bil. "So sorry for the delay", "brings back thrilling memories", and "enjoy your walk to work my dear!" are the scariest things she has read in a while.

That's how she ends up running toward the plaza and the tea shop a couple of hours earlier than usual - and stopping several yards from the fountain with an actual squawk. There, atop the fountain as though it had been made for display this way, is a statue of her. A shiny, actiony statue that she remembers paying for in gald without knowing what the heck they were gonna do with the money.]

Is he serious? [Anyone in the vicinity of the plaza can hear this rant and she doesn't really care.] I've gotta get that thing down!

[Which! Necessitates a voiced announcement of sorts, as much as she wishes she could just have this taken care of quietly.] Anybody good with, uh...dismantling...stone sculpturey things? [Except the statue may not be stone and it's atop the fountain and where would they even put it and-!] This is a really stupid gift.

[[ooc: So! For this one day, an actual real statue of Sheena is atop the plaza fountain (a bit smaller than its canon counterpart...but not much). After today it'll be in her backyard instead - a very belated 5th anniversary gift. Go by! Gawk! Laugh at the ninja who is standing there gawking too! It's meant to be silly and embarrassing as only Bil can pull off.]]

[It's still early enough to be before classes that Raine makes her way toward the plaza. Sometimes she takes the short cut through the woods; today she is taking the longer route so that she can stop at a few shops on the way up -

So coming up to the plaza proper has her raise her eyebrows - and there's Sheena herself, not too far away, looking frustrated.]

... Well. First Lloyd's appears and, now yours. I wonder if I should be concerned.

I think it's a wonderful addition.

Who's laughing? [Because clearly she isn't going to. Though she can't really help the small smile.] At least I won't be surprised if it happens. Do you know why it's here?

I got a stupid letter from the blue guy about how I'd been so patient and my "gift" was delayed thanks to administrative disarray and rearrangement and he knew I'd understand and-

[The words stop and she makes a sharp hand motion toward the statue. Grimacing.]

... Well, it could be worse. It could have been a bizarre animal companion. [Okay, no, that's not helping. But to be fair, if it were her, Sheena would be the one cracking the jokes at her indignation.] So I suppose the only question is how to ... move it.

I think maybe I'd've liked an animal more. At least it wouldn't be me. And I'm not stupid enough to try to get up there on the fountain. I'd get all wet and look even worse than I do now.

[ That statue was certainly not there a couple of days ago, but Serenity thinks it's a nice addition to the area. ]

It certainly livens things up a little. [ And it's gorgeous. ] Do you not like it?

Does that make a difference? I find much is improved with a mustache. [she may be teasing, however]

Hm. So what are you going to do, then?

[Kratos happens to walk by and hear Sheena's less than quiet rant. It draws his attention to her. What seems to be troubling--

...at the very least, it's a good likeness of you. [With his poker face, it's hard to tell if he's being serious or if this is one of those very rare occasions where he's making a joke.]

Get someone else to go up there instead.

[This is the very best of plans. It will work out amazingly.]

You've gotta be kidding me! [And probably screwing with her just to screw with her. Sheena tries not to actually pull out any of the hair she tugs on.]

Grow one yourself then.

It's stupid! We don't need a statue of me on top of the fountain, and it's embarrassing.

[Look how red she is.]

You mean you don't remember seeing this before?

[Maybe it didn't happen for him yet.

[The last thing he remembers from home is passing out after making sure Lloyd was all right. Sheena's safe.]

[and she has a fingermustache. Never mind that the finger appears to have blossomed out of her cheek rather than being attached to any sort of hand]

Are you sure you want someone up there handling you? Goodness knows the sort of responses you'll get with that.

[There's enough of a commotion coming from the plaza that Albert heads out of the shop to take a look. He won't quite make his way over to where Sheena is carrying on her rant, but he will watch from ... a safe distance away.

There may be a moment of applause at the sight of the statue, though.]

[ Oh, Sheena. Serenity laughs, but covers her mouth in an attempt to quiet it. ]

I can see that it could be a little embarrassing, but it's pretty cool; not everyone gets to have their very own statue self!

You're really enjoying this, aren't you?

What just happened?

I'd be perfectly happy if my statue self stayed in Luin where it belongs.
