Okay, guys. Raine brought this up a while ago, but some of you are new and things've changed a little. There's a kid here in Luceti named Mithos - he looks like he's about thirteen, with blond hair - he's from my world. And he's dangerous. Not like he wants to go around tearing the place apart or anything, but...more like, he doesn't trust anybody. He doesn't need a logical reason to attack you if he thinks he's gotta.

I don't want anybody going after him or anything, 'cause that's not what this warning is about. It's just a warning. He's come after me, and then Sayo, and just recently Raine and Yuan. You don't wanna provoke him and if you can, you wanna stay outta his way. Most people, he's gonna dislike or outright hate, so it's not like he'll be coming after you for conversation.

But like I said, it's just a warning. Nobody do anything stupid.

Anyway, I was hoping some people here were still interested in working in the tea shop. It's been great so far, but there's no way I can be there all day every day myself and not go totally crazy. I'd need someone who knows how to brew tea, and a couple people willing to take orders and serve it and stuff. I remember people saying they'd like to do it before - that's still true, right? I promise I wouldn't make you work too hard.

[The tea shop is where she happens to be at the moment. Though it's noticeably low on customers this evening.]

NOT funny. [And Jack is usually so chipper and relaxed around you, Sheena. Must have struck a chord he didn't want struck.] How goes the brothel, eh? You're looking for more workers?

[She knows she stepped in it, pirate.]

It's not a brothel, it's a tea shop and I don't exactly remember any half-drunk pirates coming to visit it. Guess that's why you don't know how it's going.

[Half-drunk is her only reasonable explanation for why he is the way he does.]

Then it would appear one three-quarters drunk pirate is due for a visit, wouldn't it. Lock up the good silver, sweetness.

We don't have any good silver here, and you're gonna get searched at the door.

How rigorous will the searching be?

Give me an hour. And make me tea, woman. [The journal shuts off.]

[Just...facepalm. You order tea, Jack.]

[Oh, do you? You'll have to order him to order tea, then. And he'll try not to visibly enjoy it too much. Well within the allotted hour, a rakish sort comes sweeping into the tea shop.]

Beautiful Sheena! I'm here! You may now serve the tea!

You've gotta pick a seat and order what kinda tea you want first.

Erm.......just. Tea. Tea tea. One cup. Any more tea than that in my system and I'm told I act strangely.

Where would you like me to sit?

[corrinesbell]

I dunno what you mean by just 'tea tea.' Here. [Look at all the choices on this menu Jacky.]

Pick any seat you want.

[all7seas]

[So. Many. Choices. Jack waves the menu away and sits by the window.] Make me whatever you think I'll enjoy, darling. I trust your judgment.

[corrinesbell]

...Okay then.

[She'll know if he steals anything. For now she's headed back to the kitchen to make him some tea.]

[all7seas]

[He's stealing ALL KINDS OF STUFF, Sheena. A silver spoon; a napkin ring; several of the screws holding the chair across from him together.]

[he will learn never to steal from a ninja. He will learn it right now, as two fingers touch an ice-lined card to the bacj of his neck as he reaches for that chair]

Freeze.

[all7seas]

You're back. [He...does as he's told.]

Look, if you walk off with a couple pieces of silverware I could care a whole lot more. But you're not gonna do anything that could end up getting someone hurt. Understand?

[all7seas]

[Sloooowly that hand gets withdrawn from the chair. A couple of loose screws drop to the floor.] Wouldn't DREAM of it, darling beautiful Sheena! Of hurting anyone! Understood!

[corrinesbell]

[And since no one's around? Have a victory smirk]

After all, what would you do if Buffy sat in that chair and hurt herself?

[all7seas]

[And since Buffy has not YET been kidnapped, Jack can only smile.] I'd run. Because she'd try to take it out of my hide, she would.

[corrinesbell]

Then it's probably better if you just avoid that altogether. Raine might end up sitting in that chair too.

[all7seas]

...Oh. [He immediately, on is knees, begins to repair the chair.] Right. Raine.

[corrinesbell]

[That set him straight. She'll be back in her kitchen now, and in a few minutes bring him out tea the way they always made it at home.]
