I've been thinking about it for the past few days, and I think...I think I wanna have a tea house. It was...I liked it. Anyone wanna point me in the right direction for a place where I could put one? The place it was...y'know, before...isn't what I can use anymore.

[She's thought about how doing something like this is pretty much declaring, after all this time, a belief in the permanence of her situation. ...Oh well. It's also something to do and maybe it'll give other people here a chance to just not think about some stuff, if they need the chance.]

Of course, he's remaining discrete, much like a shoplifter planning to make off with their stolen goods. After all, he has no money to pay and even if he did, this junk belongs to him anyway.]

[He turns around, his arm away from her hardening into a claw of graphene, though he keeps the hand clenched. He doesn't know much about this place yet, but he's not eager to take his chances. He relaxes, only a bit, when he gets a good look at her. Damn, maybe it's his lucky day. There's a smirk when he answers and despite being physically younger than her, the sound of his voice is deeper and older sounding than it otherwise should.]

You'll understand if I find it a little hard to swallow. It's not everyday you have your belongings stolen, dropped in some backwater town, and then have a journal given to you by your assailants telling you that there's no point trying to escape. I'm not that gullible.
