We've gone through so many people and there're a lot of new ones now, so I figured I'd ask again. Are there such things as ninja in your world? Do people think they're real or just a legend?

...The stuff from home...it's gone for all of you guys too, right? 'Cause I've been thinking about it-

[BOOM. The journal doesn't record the preceding flash, but that was the explosive start to a late-summer thunderstorm. It was definitely loud enough to cut off Sheena's sentence. If she'd finished it.

[Well, someone took off like a shot across town. Naturally, he's thinking something ~*incredibly terrible*~ is happening and he needs to come to the rescue. He trips over himself when he opens the door to the house, sliding into the kitchen, where he spots her.]

No, it's...I just jumped a little and the book...fell.

[She'll still be in the kitchen because it is still thundering. And that increases her desire not to go anywhere.]
