It's... it's not important right now! We were talking about your injury. Volt attacked you, whether or not I was there to witness it. The least I can do is check you over, since I've yet to do so.

I think it's important. [and she wants to know how it happened. If it did the same awful things to Raine, and to Mizuho, that it did in the real reality.]

Talking about ... that ... won't do either of us any good. [She doesn't quite sound as if she believes it, though.]

[this is the sheepish as all hell face] I don't get it. Zelos and Regal did a whole lot and then I didn't even get out of bed for a few days. I thought it'd go away.

Zelos and Regal are still limited in their healing capabilities, even at full power. An injury like that is more serious than the ones we used to receive normally.

That's the problem. I don't have any injuries anymore. ...Things just hurt sometimes.

Because you haven't fully recovered. It's just... deeper than that. An ordinary human wouldn't even be standing right now. [Or sitting up and having tea, or ... well, this was a bad train of thought.]

[Which is perfectly fine since Raine can't look at her directly, either. She'll just keep going along that train of thought in silence, staring down at her teacup.]

Just because... I understood him, didn't mean that he was willing to listen. And the others... didn't want to believe me. Her. The rest happened so fast. [And yet was so slow. Painfully slow, now that she could see it so vividly.]

[Too fast to do anything about it but slow enough to give you time to memorize every detail of facial expressions, twisted in flashes of light, and to still hear--

It wasn't real. I dunno if it matters when I say that, but it...didn't happen.

I know it wasn't ... real. I'm just not certain if ... all of me realizes it. [Because as easy as it was to advise others... she really couldn't do a thing for them before figuring out whether she should accept or reject those recollections entirely.

Maybe they would fade.]

It's not exactly apologizing like I did something. ...I'm just sorry you've got memories of it happening to you.

It's -- just something I need to learn to deal with, that's all. It's not something you need to apologize for one way or the other.
