I am really getting sick of this feeling down here.

Anyway. We're heading the opposite direction of Yuri's group. There are doors here, too, lots of them. A bunch are rusted shut, so I guess it must've been wet down here at some point. Couldn't tell you what the walls and stuff are made of, either, even with a lantern. But I think it's weird that this place caved in under us. The rest of it seems sturdy enough, so hopefully it doesn't happen again down here.

Lloyd got one door unlocked and he's working on another one, so we're gonna go in and look around. Gimme a minute and then one of us will be able to tell what's in there.

[Your Pirate rank will go up if you check every room for treasure chests, Vyse. Fina sees him get excited about the prospect of a weapon like the Moonstone cannon and laughs. She then tilts her head to the side in thought as she muses over what they could discover from this expedition.]

Maybe there will be something down here that tells us how to neutralize the barrier too... like when I was first brought here.

How about a machine we can use to send people home, or get reinforcements from our own worlds?

[just imagine that entire Blue Rogue fleet, complete with airships, here in Luceti. One cannot deny it would be amazing. Plus, if they can take down Zelos the Gigas, they can beat the Malnosso with that. The prospects of what they can discover here just keep on getting better and better.]

[She nods, remembering the impressive fleet of somewhat motley Air Pirates that joined them after Soltis was raised.]

We would be able to show the Malnosso who they messed with, right?

You bet!

[now he's really getting his hopes up. Too bad this 'expedition' is probably going to end in catastrophy again.]

And Brave Vesperia is helping too. I hope we can all find something... anything.

[technically, she's right. But we can put a positive spin on that.]

I'm sure. If there's something in there worth while, they'll come get us. In the meantime, we'll stay here and keep guard.

[And she still doesn't look entirely convinced.]

It'll be fine. Those rooms are cramped anyway.

[he's determined to soothe Fina's nerves and not let her go into those rooms.]

... [His determination will not be in vain! By now, Cupil has drifted back over to them and she pats the little pet affectionately.]

And we still don't know how far these tunnels go.

Who knows? Maybe they'll lead to someplace nice, outside the barrier.

[he watches her pet Cupil, smiling slightly.]

That would be nice.. a whole new world to explore.

It'd be great! If we can find the proper technology, we can get one or two air ships here. Stahn and Lloyd said they'd come too!

[the idea of exploring the rest of this world is actually a pretty hot topic for Vyse.]

[Aha, Fina notices that he seems more energized after mentioning that notion and turns her attention away from Cupil, head tilted with interest.]

Yup! That's why I can't wait to bring the Malnosso down for good. We'll have this entire world for ourselves.
